BOSPA receives a number of requests from the media for patients willing to share their story, good or bad and at all various stages of the surgery journey.   Sometimes patients are wanted to respond to an item of topical interest in the news media, sometimes documentary makers or feature article writers are looking for people to follow for a period of months.  Some are even willing to pay you a fee for your participation.  It could be the artlcle about your journey that helps someone else make up their mind whether surgery is the right treatment for them.  BOSPA maintains a register of those members who are willing to participate in media relations - if you would like to do so and have not yet advised us of this, please email Chrissie Palmer - chrissie@BOSPA.org to do so.
